Felipe Bezerra is a professional photographer with an academic background that includes a BA (Hons) in Photography. He is currently a graduate student in the Masters of Fine Arts Program at Universidade Estadual de Campinas — Unicamp — where he researches abstract photography.

His professional background spans event photography, photojournalism, portrait photography — both studio and natural light —, digital image processing, nature photography, macrophotography and video shooting and editing, as well as teaching photography to both beginners and experienced professionals through courses, workshops and private lessons. Felipe also holds a BSc (Hons) in Economics.

​

His professional and academic interests and activities also encompass emotional portraits, documentary photography, techniques in analogue photography and fine art photography and printing. Most recently, his research has focused on computer methods for image processing and analysis with interests in aesthetic and expressive applications.

Felipe currently works as a photojournalist at Unicamp.
